Thrilling thursday i had with the car. Had to go down to SGCC for dinner cause it was lich's mom's birthday. set the gps to bring me to kensington park road and set off. but somehow the gps wasn't moving as my car was. so i thought, "hmm, maybe i gotta press the 'simulation' button on the screen". and so i did, and the instructions started coming through. "great," or so i thought. the everything was fine for me until i realied that the gps was just reciting instructions as to how to get there without tracking the position of my car! so in the end, i had 'arrived' at my destination on gps whereas i was still on TPE in reality! >.<basically, i was lost.
in the end, i decided to drive to Jalan Kayu and park the car somewhere before resetting the gps again. stupid gps. second time around it finally worked! really couldn't understand what happened initially. bleh. finally arrived at SGCC at 7pm. lucky i got set buffer time in case anything happened. and it just had to happened. toot la.
after dinner i was on my way sending lich to SFT when my steering wheel started veering to my left. PUNCTURED TYRE. damn it must have kena-ed it when i turned left too early previously. we stopped at a ulu bus stop and started to remove all the gear from the boot. lucky i had him to be my strength, both literally and metaphorically. lucky i bothered to listen to Steven when he thought me the procedures of changing a tyre. Back then after i heard the steps and realised it was so simple, i was thinking in my mind i wouldn't be the crying damsel-in-distress hailing for a car to stop should i encounter a punctured tyre. and lo and behold, i really had to encounter a punctured tyre. its like, self-fulfilling!! =.=
spent about 40 minutes at the bus stop. we successfully got the spare tyre in place. what an experience for the two of us. =) despite the incident i still managed to get him to SFT by 10.30pm! heehee. and earlier i was still telling him leaving SGCC at 9.30pm was way too early and he was bound to waste time waiting for the ferry. guess not. lol.
both of us grazed our hands against the side of the pavement. both of us sweated and exhausted our strength. but we were all smiles after we got back in the car. woohoo. XD

#1. There was Sebastian Tan, who crossed dress as The Queen of the Eternal Kingdom. The photos of him really look a hell lot like the evil Queen though the voice isn't that much of a woman's. But that adds on to the fun(ny) factor.
#2. Alfian Sa'at was the playwright of the musical = hilarious poking fun at our, *ahem*, government. the references were just kick-ass. ;)
#3. Hossan Leong directed the play. Need I say more?
#4. The set was rather elaborate. many bold colours huge which just appealed to the eye. set transition was smooth. and the costumes were Amazing with a captial A. esp that of the Queen's. woo! *sparkle sparkle*
#5. Live band played as the performers sang, live too. fabulous voices.
#6. Snow white (Elena Wang) and the Magic Mirror (Celine Rosa Tan) were really pretty. And it was just exciting seeing The Queen with every costume change. Ooh, the dwarfs were really radical too \m/ woo!
#7. Its interesting to see the twists to the story we all know as a child. =)

O.o .. err.. ok *wrecks my brain*oh. and next weekfor TS practical we gotta act a scene out of Cockroach Opera, and Im playing the talking Senayan statue, known as Carrier of the Flame. and he looks like this:

my entire face went into mortified mode when i saw it. and yea its topless. though i already knew about it even before my searched the image online. my group members were all giving suggestive looks when it came to talking about costumes. like.. =.= O.K.
